Installation

Once you have decided the kind of switch to couple with the Schneider Electric XB4 contact block, drill a hole of Ø 22 mm.

Loosen the screw of the Schneider Electric XB4 contact block. Insert the designated operator (push button, emergency switch, etc.) Fasten it onto the contact block.

Tighten the screw to fasten the assembly. It is recommended that you tighten the screw up to a maximum of 1.2 Nm.

The contact block operates in temperatures of -40 °C to +70 °C. It also offers ingress protection of IP20 thus conforming to IEC 60529 requirements. It has a vibration resistance of 5 gn.

It also offers a shock resistance of 30gn for 18 ms, half-sine wave acceleration and 50 gn for 11 ms, half-sine wave acceleration hence it conforms to IEC 600668-2-27 requirements.
